Haven

Haven is a blonde wolf with light underfur and a faded dorsal. In her youth, she was the stalker of Swift Claws and Smoke Claws. She is pairbonded to Polar, her party's finisher.

(10/24) Haven got a notched ear from a territory skirmish while hunting a bovine carcass in the grasslands. (11/5) she also recieved a triceps scar from hunting an elk bull in the deciduous forest.

Haven joined the Phoenix Tribe as a yearling, when she had even more of an attitude than she does now, if you can believe it! She's always down about something, seeming bothered to exist and always frowning on what other wolves do. She's the definition of pond half empty, quick to see the worst in every situation. Many wolves don't get along with her, despite her being the mentor for all wolves in the two hunting parties that came after her.

A wolf with her personality seems like she'd be a loner with a distaste for affection. Instead, she's in one of the most loving and intimate relationships with her mate, Polar.


Elder Years

After a Sun Sublunary of hunting with her mate and children in Smoke Claws, Haven decided to retire to the elder's alders. Her stamina hadn't been the same returning to hunt, with shortness of breath affecting her health, and Polar encouraged her to rest. She would be joining her in retirement by the next Sun Sublunary, and with a huff promised she'd keep watch over them.

Haven spent a lot of her free time chatting up Twoface and Ember, old huntmates from Swift Claws who she hadn't spent as much time with since raising her pups. She moved the few items she kept in her hunter's den to her new den, which was significantly more spacious. Haven quite liked how cool this den stayed in the summer, but of course didn't voice that thought. She instead complained to her kids that it wasnt shaped like how she expected and how much work it was lugging her things there.

One rarely visits her, but Haven visits one. She needs to keep an eye on that devil child and keep her from trouble. She still bothers to step on One's toes and scold her inappropriate behavior with the other hunters of Dawn Flashfire. She also pokes at that ridiculous piercing One has.

A bit of dementa set in as she aged, and she'd sometimes mix up the numbered names on her children. However, she was always still sweet on Polar. She loved inviting polar and their pups over to share meals and occasionally trotted over to Polar's hunting den to sleep beside her at night.

She took up mentoring any future stalkers, employing the same tough love she always did with underpaws who studied under swift claws.
