Winters

Year 1

New Year (1 year old)
The pregnant she-wolf Winters and her mate Rivers arrive in these lands togeher after a long, tiresome journey. Here, they are greeted by the she-wolf Tala, who helps them get settled in their new home. The pair settles in a well-protected, forested area they quickly make their home. Tala also introduces them to Gray Stones, one of the lone wolves who's lived in the area for quite some time. The three ge along well, and he offers to scout for Winters.

Flocktime (1 year old)
In the dead of night, Winters wakes to the sound of pawsteps upon the damp forest floor. A young wolf later named Storm Cloud introduces himself, and claims to have heard of them from Tala. He becomes the pack's second scout.

Storm Cloud introduces the wolf later named Twilight to the others, and he later becomes another hunter. The wolf is a bit wild and restless, but eager to help, and Storm Cloud is happy to vouch for him.

Tala sends another local wolf their way, later named Moon Eyes, who arrives at a stressful time: Winters has just gone into labour. Moon Eyes helps her, and promises to help look after the two pups born.

The pups are almost identical twins, whom Winters names Timber and Pine.

Wealsun (1.2 year old)
All day, Winter's noticed the presence of another wolf nearby. When Gray Stones returns from his scout, he recognises the scent. He can introduce Winters to the wolf later named Glacier. He is a bit older than the other wolves (except for Gray Stones), and seems extremely relieved not to be on his own anymore. Rivers comments in private that he seems a bit... jumpy.

The hunters return with another of the local wolves in tow: Later named Lichen, he is an energetic wolf who seems very excited about the prospect of joining a pack.

Goodmonth (1.2 year old)
Winters meets the Outsider, who warns her that the witch coven is not to be trusted. However, Winters trusts Dark Waters, and thus the coven.

Readying (1.8 years old)
After the death of two of Moon Eyes' puppies, Winters grows increasingly more desperate to find a way to harness her powers to protect her pack. She meets Namir, and despite her doubting the witches more and more, she trains with him in hopes of growing stronger.

Everwinter (1.9 years old)
Winters takes Timber and Pine out on a walk across the territory in order to tell her pups her own story. About her birth pack, her journey to these lands and why she ever even made it. She explains to both of them that she will understand their desire to explore the world on their own, and that she would not fault either of them if they did not wish to take on the responsibilty of Lead Wolf once Winters passes away.

Pine admits she's often thought about leaving the pack once she is old enough to, but Timber is firm in his decision to stay.

Year's End (1.11 years old)
Winters and Namir finally complete the ritual, but find they were betrayed. The witches vanish, without a trace as to where they went. Along with them, they took both Winters' and Namir's powers. The two wake up to a corrupted forest around them, and realise the witches never meant to help them—only themselves.

Both return home to their packs, and Winters confronts Dark Waers, who had pushed her to trust the witches. The herbalist admist she knew the plan, and that it was her role to ensure Winters would comply. The Lead wolf has no choice but to kill her.

Desperate to protect her pack, Winters urges all of them to up and ready themselves for a move up North—where the witches' corruption hopefully will not have spread.

Year 2

Flocktime (2 years old)
Timber and his littermate Pine grow into adults. Pine leaves the pack to find her own destiny.

HIghsun (2.3 years old)
Winters officially forms a pair bond with her longtime mate Rivers. Unfortunately, their bliss is short-lived as strange things begin to happen. Even though the world has slowly recovered from the corruption of the witches, other scares haunt the land. Strange lights, missing wolves, strange animals who find themselves lost here. Winters also meets Maeve, who was looking for her mate, Lowen.

Longheat (2.3 years old)
Winters meets more members of Maeve's pack and agrees to help them.

Harvester (2.4 years old)
Maeve disappears as well. Winters speaks to Sirona and Quany, two memebers of Maeve's pack, and agrees to help them try and solve this mystery. She learns of the Faelcu, and a she-wolf in their pack who once went to madness after supposedly losing her pups to them.

Ready'reat (2.6 years old)
The heavily pregnant Winters finds a lost pup in the woods. The poor thing is near hysterical in the unfamiliar terrain, and ultimately adopted by Winters and her mate Rivers.

A few days later, the hunters meet Faye, who's been on her own practically all her life. Despite being offered a place in the pack, the she-wolf prefers to stay on the side-lines for now. Winters can't blame her, but keeps a careful watch over her, especially with so many pups soon arriving.

Harshwind (2.6 years old)
Winters gives birth to three puppies, only days after Moon Eyes gave birth to hers. Eight pups in total is a lot to handle for the small pack, and so Moon Eyes' oldest son Oak Bark decides to help out as well.

Needfest (2.7 years)
Winters returns to the Chaorainn pack after having found Maeve again. They are met with the vengeful spirit of Bronagh—the she-wolf who once believed her pups to have been replaced with changelings.
