Mira

Mira was originally from the deserts. She lived there for a while until her sister brought her along on an adventure and the two of them found a large river that had gained size from resent heavy rains in the swamps. Never having seen that much water before they were mesmerized and wandered too close to the river's edge, eventually falling in and being washed downstream. Mira gasped for air and struggled to swim as the river flowed over her. Luckily, she was able to grab a hold of a large piece of driftwood. She called out for her sister and her family but no one came to save her and her sister was no where in sight, possibly buried by the current. She grasped the driftwood for what seemed like days as it flowed down the river until she eventually washed up on the shore. She looked around and quickly realized that she was somewhere completely different from the deserts she grew up in. She was in a large forest that smelled of moss and rotting wood. After a while she was found by Lillemor and adopted by the Clan of Many Stars. She liked the pack, but she missed her family and even more than that, her sister. The two had been close and Mira was worried that she might not have made it out of that river. However, it remained a mystery, and as Mira grew up as a pup of the Clan of Many Stars, her sister's survival become more and more shrouded in doubt.

Mira grew into a calm wolf who valued kindness and peace. She was a very generous wolf who loved to nap. She hunted for the pack a lot of the time, as it was her duty, but she always found the time to nap in the sunlight.

Then there was the day Mira met Leif, an outsider. He was a strange wolf who spoke of spirits and traditions she couldn't quite wrap her head around. He also had a unique smell that was primarily composed of exotic herbs. However, in him Mira didn't find strangeness, she found curiosity. She decided to approach him and ask him about his background, his interests, his goals, and she found out that they had much in common. She respected him for the passion that seemed to drive him, the spark that never seemed to flicker out. It was admirable, and it wasn't something she had seen before. She began to start conversation with him daily until it became a common practice between the two of them. A friendly meeting in the evening light. They became as tightly woven together as two reeds in a basket, and she was ecstatic when he nervously asked her to be his mate at and of those very same meetings. She was overjoyed to be his mate, and to soon be a mother. It was wonderful and strange and happy all at the same time. She loved it, she really did.
