Koa [ herbalist ] ~

Born under the glow of a crescent moon, Koa was different from the other wolves of the pack from the start. His fur was thick and dark, but it was marked with patches of pale, almost silvery white — an uncommon and striking feature in the pack. These markings, which appeared to be veins of moonlight itself, seemed to spread and change with each season, and as he grew, they became more pronounced. His fur, now a patchwork of deep ebony and pale, snow-like swathes, became his signature. However, the most mesmerizing feature of Koa was his eyes — a piercing, ice-blue hue, almost like a wolf born with the essence of winter in his soul. They were husky eyes, large and expressive, carrying the weight of ancient wisdom yet betraying a mischievous glint.

This unique appearance, however, wasn't without its price. Koa had vitiligo, a condition where his pigmentation faded in certain areas of his fur and skin. To the other wolves, his condition was both a mystery and a mark of distinction. Some older pack members whispered that it was a sign of a blessing from the spirits of the bayou, while others believed it made Koa an outcast. Regardless, Koa embraced it, wearing his appearance like a badge of honor, his eyes gleaming with pride and sometimes arrogance. He was proud of his difference, seeing it as a sign of his uniqueness and a reflection of his inner strength.
