Hestia of Hearth of Hallows
The beginnings.
The land breaks from its winter silence today.
The fires have long since raged, and the buds of a new forest bloom.
Hestia ventured off as a young, freshly grown she wolf towards the mountains, where the mist swallowed up her feet and frost grew on the tips of her hairs. Her charismatic and gentle qualities made her a wolf others could look up to, and she soon founded a pack on old abandoned grounds.
Hestia and her new friends one day grew bored of the same routine that beheld them everyday and Hestia decided to lead them all on a new adventure, to see the sights of lands far away and thrive on spontaneity. They traveled down the mountains, following the river and meeting new wolves along the way. Her first friends became secondary leaders to her, each of their strong suites were valued and they taught their new pack members their talents.
She led them through terrains new and founded, creating tales to enrapture the pups and full-grown wolves alike. She told them myths and shared the culture of her homelands far away...
The Moon.
The dappled she wolf led them into the grasslands, where the sun rose on the horizon and painted them all in gold, but it was not the sun that ravished her, it was the pale face of The Moon that drew her utmost attention.
She became devoted to night's gentle shepherd, and sang her songs each night.
The Moon was a being of many admirers, but she was lonely far up in the sky. When she heard Hestia's voice she only wished she could crash into the land and be with her, but The Moon was wise and she had been in the sky for hundreds of years, watching the lands turn, so, patiently, she waits.
The Moon sent along one of her children, the gentlest wind she could find and she fashioned it into a child for Hestia, to keep her company while her earthly time goes on. The Moon made an oath to Hestia, that one day on the eve of her mortal existance she would be immortalized into a constellation and the two would be able to embrace, to sing and dance, to be forever the bard of the starry court.
- May the stars take my everything, my body and soul
- Our spirits intermingle together and become whole
- Out there in space, time will go on
- Nothing, is constant and normalcy is gone
