One night, under a full moon, a strange occurrence shook the forest. A mysterious fog rolled in, thicker and more ominous than anything the forest had ever seen. It carried with it a chilling silence, muting the songs of the night and the rustle of the leaves. The fog enveloped the den where Gaia and her siblings slept, seeping into every corner.

When the fog finally lifted with the dawn, Gaia awoke to a haunting stillness. Her siblings, once lively and full of energy, lay gaunt and listless. What seemed to be a normal pup took on a zombie like demeanor. She nudged each one, hoping they were merely in a deep trance, but their spirits had departed, leaving a shell. Despite the nest efforts of thier father, the pups would not eat. It didn't take long for them to slip away...
