Niskfeather

(Nisk, meaning "Goose" (specifically, Canada Goose) in Cree, an indigenous Canadian language.)

Niskfeather, the Queen of her pack. She's a strong and reasonable leader, able to take good care of her wolves and pups. She's generally nice and passive, and only chooses to fight and hunt when she needs to.

With her coat being like a dog's, up in the mountains and tundras, she's often mistaken for a husky, a commonly owned dog of the people up there. Her name, Niskfeather, was given to her because of the one thing she loves to collect - goose (and other bird) feathers.

Her and her pack believe in ancient wolf gods/goddesses -- Estrella, Sila, Pozhar, Boden, Veter, and Reka -- gods and goddesses of everything natural in this world. Estrella takes control of space, Sila controls the food chains and natural life, Pohzar controls fire, Boden controls earth and the ground, Veter controls the sky, and Reka the waters. They also believe in an afterlife for the wolves, every wolf that has ever passed will become a shining star in the sky to always be remembered for their legacy, even if it's minimal. They call these wolves "The Pack of Wandering Stars."

The Pack of Wandering Stars

PWS (as I'll be abbreviating it) is where wolves go once they die. The Willowpaw's believe that, once a wolf dies, they become a stray star in the sky for their legacy, no matter how insignificant or great, to get remembered. When a wolf dies, they become a star the next night, and that star will be the brightest shining star for the night. The reason why they don't instantly become a star is because it's a long journey. A family of wolves will join PWS and become a constellation.
