Snowstar

Snowpup looks to the outside world with untainted wonder and curiosity. When will she be able to leave her mother's comfort in these harsh times? Snowpup has already lost her father and brothers to this wild environment and it's vicious inhabitants. She falls asleep, not knowing that this is the last time she will feel her mother's warmth.

Snowpup wakes up to feel her mother frozen cold and wrapped around her one last frigid hug. Not knowing what to do next, Snowpup ventures out into the unknown. Surviving on scraps and carrion left by bears and other predators was hard. It only becomes harder when she finds the bodies of her brothers and father ripped apart by, most likely a bear.

The sounds of soft whimpers and whines catches her attention. She then sees a little black pup crying nearby. She moves closer driven by hurt, pain and an overwhelming curiosity. This pup is alone too...
