New Puppy appears to be different than the rest! She appears to have the secondary mutation: patches: split!
During the lesson: Dawn explained how important it is not only to hide out of sight, but also out of scent range. Concealing scent is much more difficult than finding a good hiding spot, but it could be the difference between life and death.
During the lesson: Split! tried her new skills on real prey today. It worked with other pups earlier, but it won't always be so easy.
During the lesson: Split! waited for the birds for so long that she fell asleep. Mushroom chastised her, and told her that she needed to be more patient next time.
During the lesson: Split! was reminded to work on her attention span. While her physical condition was perfect, Split! needed to fight the urge to use every opportunity to play.
During the lesson: Split! learned that specific plant parts do different things, and how only taking certain bits that the pack needs for remedies won't damage the entire plant. This will conserve resources and allow the plant to be used in the future.
