Snow fell gently outside the den the white wolf had dug, though some crumbled into the warmth provided by her shelter. Inside, the white wolf herself panted slightly as she looked down at the two puppies nursing from her. One was blonde with dark circles around his eyes, the other was dark with what looked almost like moss already growing on her shoulders. The white wolf put her wing over the two as though a blanket, wanting to protect her fragile newborns from the cold outside.
