Shattered Sun, The Dual Aspect
She was born of an outsider male and a nameless Osteon female. From the moment of her birth, her mother cherished her, despite her unusual appearance. Many within Osteon viewed Shattered Sun as an ill omen. Yet, Shattered Sun carried royal blood in her veins—her grandfather was the beloved Hundr, Third King of Osteon. Her royal blood and Hundr's joy over her birth spared her from what might have been a cruel fate of abandonment—or worse.
