Moonrise

(Moonrise, named so because she was born in the dead of night.)

Moonrise isn't good at much anything. She was forced into the hunter role because a space needed to be filled. This led to her standing on the sidelines of hunting parties rather than participating. The experienced hunters critiqued her, leading to downfall of her self esteem.

She doesn't think highly of herself much anymore. She feels useless when hunting. When she hunts, she accidentally lets prey slip by, or steps on a stick and alerts their prey. Or maybe when she's chasing, she gets distracted. She's not fit for the hunter role. She's begged time and time again to be something simpler, a pupsitter or something, but was never accepted to be one because of her current incompetence.

To counter this, the wolves who usually give puppies training lessons started giving her some as well, and she's been slowly getting better.
