Poltergeist

Poltergeist and ghost were once young pups hailing from neighbouring packs. They would often meet on neutral grounds, a reach, overlooking the boarder of their territories.Through their adolescents they shared stories, played and explored together.

One afternoon, the friends grew tired up on the reach, and settled into a small cavern on the outlook, huddled over one another they drifted into sleep. Unaware of the impending disaster to unfold.

They awoke, looking out of the small cave entrance to see daylight, panic set in as their families must be worried and furious of their disappearance. They rushed out to the overlook and froze with dread. The vast view of their homes, the overview of dense trees, the plateaus of land all completely obscured now by murky, dark water. The stone they stood on once meters above the valley ground now sat as an island, water lapping at the platform of stone, inches from being submerged as well. The entire valley now a black, eerie lake, littered with the bodies and debris of trees and wildlife.

"I heard it last night..." Poltergeist told Ghost "I had a dream last night, that a roaring beast took our families"

This notorious day they would call "The day of Blackwater"

They referred to themselves as the blackwater survivors, Later naming themselves and their territory Blackwater Reach.
