Courageous while dignified, Fawn appears to be the ideal leader at first glance. She cares deeply about her pack, as they are her family, and would lay down her life without hesitation for them. While she doesn't come from a history of leaders, you'll find she is quite suited for the responsibility that comes with the position.
But of course, like any wolf, Fawn is nowhere near perfect so to speak. The fae wolf also has a hard time forming deeper relationships past friendship. Due to a difficult upbringing caused by quarreling parents, she is wary of male wolves and prefers to remain independent. When the time comes to bring an heir into the world, she knows she must be responsible and pick not only a father who will bring healthy, fit puppies into the world but one who will always be there for them no matter what. One who won't turn his back on them so hurtfully as her father did she.
Despite her best efforts, Fawn failed to produce a viable heir for the position of King or Queen of the Aspen Grove pack. A passing by male discovered this weakness in the pack, and took over the position, claiming the pack for his own. Fortunately, he was understanding of all Fawn had done for her beloved pack and gave her the freedom of remaining within the pack. He also offered a blessing, immortality for the fae so she could forever watch over the ones she loved so. Fawn happily accepted this position as the permanent Queen of the pack.
