Orchid joined the pack as an adol and became friends with Rain and her twin brothers Thunder and Lightning. Orchid drew very close to the family and soon realized he was falling in love with Rain. When her brothers got closer to adulthood, they made a plan to leave the pack to find their own paths. Horrified at the prospect of losing Rain, he confessed his feelings and begged her to stay. Unbeknownst to him, Rain had also fallen in love with him. Though she hated to see her brothers go, she was thrilled to stay with her new mate as well as her mother.
