"Keep still" DewFern said, the scent of herds washing over StoneHeart told him something had went wrong. "What happened" his voice sounded hoarse, his head hurt and he couldn't see properly through his left eye. "Stay still!" DewFern warned again she sounded angry but StoneHeart could sense her anger wasn't directed at him. StoneHeart sat up, he was still in the training clearing. He saw Hugo II looking at him with a mixture of guilt and shame. He came padding over "I'm sorry I shouldn't have gone so hard on you" then continued in a brisk tone "at least that scar will win you the heart of a female one day" he said in a joking voice. "This is no time to be joking" SunLight, StoneHeart's mother said. She turned her aggressive glare on Hugo II, " I hope your happy, you've destroyed my sons eye!" Sunlight looked like she was going to attack Hugo II but DewFern went in between them. " StoneHeart will be fine, I've cleaned and dressed his eye, obviously there isn't anything I can do for it it's completely gone" she gave StoneHeart and Hugo II a long look then turned to their mentors NightThistle and CopperHead and they started talking about the accident.
