Story(Opt.): SpoilerOne cool fall evening, young Grey was looking for a place to stay for the night. After much searching, he was found by a scout and her apprentice. The scout was a pink and tan wolf named Hemera, and her apprentice was a dark gray and blue wolf named Danika. After some conversation started by Hemera being defensive with the trespasser, they learned that he was actually just a traveler. Since their pack was welcoming to travelers, Danika asked Grey if he wanted to stay with the pack for a bit. Grey accepted, glad to have a place to stay. While they walked back, Danika, who was of similar age to Grey, asked him many questions about his travels. They talked for quite a while, finally separating when they made it to the Oak Ridge Pack camp. Hemera took Grey to see the leader, who was an old and frail wolf resting in her den. She looked sad, but she tried to keep up a smile for Grey anyways. She welcomed him, introducing herself as Azuli and telling him he could stay as long as he wanted. After this, he went back to the main clearing of the camp, meeting Danika there again. They hung out for the rest of the day, telling stories and exploring together. Grey learned that Azuli was sad because her mate died a few days ago, and that Danika had a crush on a wolf named Nikau, and that one of the female wolves might be expecting pups, and lots of other things. Danika talked a lot. As the days passed, Greys first birthday came around, and he was looking more like a handsome yearling then a lanky apprentice. Everyone bid him a happy birthday, and Danika gave him a jay feather as a gift. Despite the fun he was having with his friend Danika and the other members of the Oak Ridge Pack, Grey knew it was time for him to hit the road again and start traveling to his next adventure. Everyone was sad to see him go, especially Danika, but they understood. Danika and Hemera walked Grey to the border of the pack, saying their final goodbyes, and watching as he walked away, disappearing into the forest.
