Erebus

Erebus was born to no pack and raised in isolation, his parents disappearing when he was too young to remember them clearly. He survived alone in the tundra, where harsh winters and constant threats from predators and rival scavengers forged his aggressive and highly self-reliant nature. Without the structure or protection of a pack, Erebus developed a sharp tongue and a confrontational attitude, using intimidation and wit as tools to secure his place in a world where he had no allies. His solitary lifestyle left him skeptical of others, viewing camaraderie as unnecessary and trust as a risk.

Erebus encountered Artabax, the leader of the Lupus Venator, while exploring near their territory. Their meeting was tense, marked by mutual displays of dominance and veiled hostility. Despite the friction, Artabax saw potential in Erebus's strength and survival skills. After a brief standoff, Erebus reluctantly agreed to join the pack, though his attitude remained defiant. Upon joining, he was unexpectedly assigned the role of Puppysitter, a position often given to lower-ranking wolves or those being tested for loyalty. While Erebus resented the task, he performed it with diligence, protecting the pups with the same intensity he once used to guard his own survival, though not without maintaining his sharp-tongued demeanor.
