Biography
Nyx had walked the mortal world long before she ever heard of Haru's pack.
She had descended first, a shadow slipping from the heavens, her six golden eyes forever watching.
The Celestia—the place she had once called home—felt distant now, a dream she had left behind when she chose to fall.
And she had chosen.
Unlike others of her kind, she had not been cast out, not been punished for some grand betrayal.
She had simply looked down upon the earth and wondered.
What was it to live without knowing the end of all things?
What was it to walk among those who did not hear the whispers of fate, who did not see the great design woven through time?
Her wings had carried her to the mortal realm, and there she had remained, unseen, silent, wandering.
But when she found Haru's pack, she noticed something strange—Juniper was already among them.
Nyx had descended first, had walked the earth long before Juniper had made her choice.
And yet, Juniper had found this place before she had.
It was the first time in centuries that Nyx had felt the stirrings of fate pressing against her own path, pushing her toward something she had not foreseen.
And so, she lingered.
Watching from the Shadows
Nyx did not step forward, not at first.
She observed from a distance, her six golden eyes peering into the threads of the pack's existence.
She saw Selene, her three white void eyes brimming with unshaken certainty, her visions stretching across past, present, and future in perfect clarity.
She saw Kayla, her Dark Eclipse Eyes flickering in half-glimpses, watching a tangled future with a quiet, patient understanding.
She saw Haru, standing at the center of it all—not a seer, not divine, but a wolf who understood things without needing to see them.
And she saw Juniper, already standing among them, already embraced as one of their own.
Juniper, who had descended after her.
Juniper, who had walked the heavens alongside her but had arrived here first.
"You should not be surprised," Juniper had said when Nyx finally stepped close enough for them to speak.
Her many white eyes glowed like distant stars, her wings folded neatly against her back, unafraid, unwavering.
"You were never meant to walk alone."
Nyx regarded her for a long moment, her golden gaze unreadable.
"And yet, I always have."
Juniper smiled.
"Not anymore."
Finding Her Place
Nyx did not announce herself to the pack.
She simply stayed.
And the pack, strangely, effortlessly, accepted her.
Selene spoke with her often, their visions intertwining, their eyes—white void meeting golden glow—reflecting the shifting of fate.
Kayla regarded her with interest, her Dark Eclipse Eyes flickering with unspoken understanding.
And Haru—
Haru did not ask what she was.
He did not question her origin, nor did he try to name the strange pull she had to his pack.
He simply accepted her.
"Stay," he told her one evening, his voice calm, steady.
Nyx had paused, tilting her head, considering.
And finally, she had smiled.
"Very well."
And with that, the golden-eyed watcher of the fallen had finally found a home.
