Said to be the daughter of Earth herself. When she speaks she is detached, pragmatic, and firm. Those who don't know her might think she is cold and critical, but her packmates see the warmth in her eyes and feel the compassion in her touch.

Spring Y1, Age 1: Started out as a hunter. Switched profession to Herbalist. Gave birth to 2 pups, sired by Dahuma. Ended the season at level 5.

Summer Y1, Age 1: Learned 19 different recipes. Ended the season at level 7.

Autumn Y1, Age 1: Learned 2 new recipes. Ended the season at level 8.

Winter Y1, Age 1: Gave birth to a litter of three pups, sired by Alpha Dahuma. Ended the season at level 9.

Spring Y2, Age 2: Taught her eldest pups, Chigu-Yigi & Chubwagu-Yimi, to hunt. Ended the season at level 9.

Summer Y2, Age 2: Ended the season at level 10.

Autumn Y2, Age 2: Ended the season at level 10.

Winter Y2, Age 2-3: Gave birth to a litter of three pups, sired by Alpha Dahuma. Ended the season at level 11.

Spring Y3, Age 3: Became friends with Taka after she offered to help Ashawgi collect herbs. Ended the season at level 11.

Summer Y3, Age 3: Began mentoring her son Umagu as an apprentice Shaman. Was suddenly called by Uma to go on a Seeker's Journey. Ended the season at level 12.

Autumn Y3, Age 3: Contracted influenza while on her journey. Healed herself with the herbs she had packed. Ended the season at level 12.

Winter Y3, Age 3: Was urged by instinct and Uma's command to return to Blackmoon Rising. Returned at the very start of winter. Gave birth to a litter of three pups, sired by Alpha Dahuma. Had a discussion with her son Umagu about whether he was still interested in becoming a Shaman. Umagu brought up the fact that he loved caring for his packmates and participating in rituals, but the countless wounds and infections he saw turned his stomach. Ashawgi recommended that he should become a Guardian instead, and Umagu agreed. Although she kept it a secret, Ashawgi also felt that Mut-Kraw was doing a better job as a Shaman. Allowed Mut-Kraw to become the pack's permanent Shaman, and gave her a blessing: her descendants would always have the opportunity to become Shamans for the pack.

"I know you are upset. It's okay. I would be upset too if I were in your position. But you know what must be done. The Goddess has ordered it. You heard Her command with your own ears."

"The Goddess, she certainly does not pamper her son. She and I will need to have a talk about this."

"Stop sulking, my dear. You are being overdramatic. Trust your Goddess, and trust your mate. I'll return before the first snow falls and you will have hardly noticed my absence."

"What will the pack do without you, Ashawgi? You're the only one familiar with the practice of Shamanism."

"You'll manage without me. Umagu has been a good student. Ask him. Now, I must be gone. I cannot keep our Goddess waiting."
