Despite being Valeri's oldest pup he never had any desire to lead. Oriens would spend most of his time taking care of the pups and preferring to stay away from his father and the duties he tried to force upon him. Valeri was often times harsh on him growing up as he wanted Oriens to be better than he was.
But as Oriens got older he began to see very little of himself in his son. He had the same fiery temperament as his late mother. Oriens was just as stubborn as Lux.
