Proxima found Arctos in the trading center where all of the areas pack's exchange goods. Sysiyö desperately needed a pupsitter and he had the merits for it so he was asked to join.
Arctos is a quiet and humble wolf who cares deeply for all of the pups, and takes the loss of one very hard. One of Proximas first borns was found dead in the riverbank when under Arctos' watch. He was in shambles and was ready to be chased out, but Proxima encouraged and consoled him, when by rights proxima had all she needed to have his tail docked and him chased out while bleeding.
Proxima said that "No matter how well you try, you can never save them all, such is the way of life. Focus on those who survived, for they still need you"
When Clymene was adopted from the Aina Hellä's pack Arctos saw pupsitter potential in her straight away and took her in as his apprentice.
His pack mate is Lyra and she is his rock when he has a hard time or a pup dies.
