Having given up his royal title in pursuit of civic duties (though in all honesty, it was mainly because the royal cave had become so crowded that infighting was starting to occur, as Elu got older, the youngster were starting to fight over dominance, and the chance to lead the pack after Seattle's reign). Tristan is now technically a commoner, however, he is the most eligible bachelor to boot, as many see him as a now possibly way to let their children gain access to coveted royal blood.
Tristan however used his lineage to his advantage. From the second he became an adult, while his siblings and cousins were bickering about who would get coveted roles, Tristan started buttering up to his father, Kele. At 6 years as of writing this, Kele was finding it harder to not only explore but keep the domestic situation at home under wraps. Tristan came to step in, asserting himself as the Deputy PM, and taking over his father's scouting role. Tristan has now propped himself up to take over a role, that should have been left for a real commoner.

As you walk into Tristan's den, you can't help but notice that his office is a lot different from his father's. It lacks the plentiful array of fauna, and in fact, seems quite empty. The only scents you can smell are of Tristan and Kele, while his mother's scent is nowhere to be found.
You find Tristan musing over a scroll, that seems to be covered in an array of lines and markings. Maybe a map? "Nice to meet you," he calls out, a curt nod of the head to follow, with a slight grin. "My father told me you were coming along, I hope you didn't get a lecture," he continues, beckoning you to come closer so that you can continue your conversation.
