A shudder runs up your spine under the unyielding gaze from the pale wolf. All three of their eyes pierce through to your soul, even the two without any pupils. Gently, ominously the scale sways between one side before shifting back to the other. Their wings, surely too small to allow true flight, slowly shift before spreading wide. The air shifts and you feel so out of breath you wonder if you stopped breathing altogether. The wolf opens their jaws to speak, scale caught only on their bottom canines, spectral mist shifting from their open mouth. A voice that is deep and fluid like an old river fills the air as they speak, "I have seen you. Do you see me?"
