The birth of Dust and Yip was a intense moment for the whole pack. As is custom for Dira's past pack the first litter shows a great deal of how the two lead wolves are going to handle the pack. If pups die or are born weak, it's a horrible signs and many wolves have stepped down. While the male pups never stay close to the pack, they are loved dearly and remembered fondly.
Dust and Yip were born equals, strong and beautiful. Kaipo and Dira loved them dearly and their goodbyes were full of happy proud barks and teary eyes. Dust Went onto (@Lloma) another pack, trading with a female lead pup of that pack. A truly great ceremony.
Dust was being set up for scout, a hopeless wandering soul, so he was allowed to follow the current scout around. He knows that basics of scouting and a little herbs now. Chew this and your stomach will start to feel better. Never walk over a stick with thorns, you'll fall. Don't jump over cliffs. That sort of thing. If he had stayed with the pack, his adult name would of been Gander (wander in Dira's old pack's tonuge). He has collected a bunch of acorns and so he has befriended a small chipmunk with a white stripe on it's face. He named it "Squeak" and when he moves he will give it over to the small female pup taking his place.
He rested in the Old Bear Den and is very used to being curled up next to his mother and father.
