Jed is an unusual wolf of few words. Discovered by Balto, racing through the snow, the old Scout saw a potential successor. Jed readily joined the pack, and nobody can say he hasn't done his job well, but there's something... off about him. He doesn't really socialize - and, outside of scouting, he doesn't seem to do much at all. He eats and plays like any other wolf, but then he'll retreat to a quiet spot near the den and just... watch.
Nobody can really explain their unease around him, but all of them breathe a sigh of relief when he leaves to scout - except Keira, who is inexplicably drawn to him, enough to start a pair bond with him. The rest of the pack share hushed words about the possibility of it somehow being a trap, but if these rumours reach Jed, he doesn't respond. He just sits, watching... waiting.
