Ghost 👻

The veil between this world and the next is thinner to Ghost than most wolves, while he can't walk the dreamworld like Serene--he can occasionally glimpse through the veil. Where as Serene is a true dream walker, Ghost is more of a night walker. Held to this world, he can only glimpse the land of dreaming but never truly step foot there. 

Perhaps that was why Grim found him--the large raven was not just a bird, but a creature of dreamtime. Together, they scout various territories, tracking the leylines and places where the veil between the Dreamland and the waking world are at it's thinnest.

When the dreams first started coming to Serene and the young lead seemed unsure of who to confide in, Ghost was there. Never questioning her sudden motives or changes of plans, just four paws on the earth traveling to distant lands to find whatever it was she needed to find. And when they realized they were both talking about glimmers of the same world and vast friendship opened between them. When Serene woke one morning, the winter air frigid, and demanded to go north...she described a split open stump he'd seen before on his travels, one where lunar energy seemed to shimmer just beneath the surface. He knew why she wanted to go there and he and Grim led the way to the home they would make in the Taiga--Leyhollow.
