Limestone

Limestone was always a wonderful herbalist, dutiful in foraging and putting his teachings from Kermode to good use. However, Dew always felt on edge whenever she walked by his cave. She felt like his stark white eyes were drilling into her, and would stare at her like he could see right through her bones and fur. His fur shimmered and at times she could swear parts of his sleek pelt would become transparent.

Limestone chuffs at you and gestures to come into the herbalist cave. You decide to obey him and crouch into the small crawlspace, as your eyes adjust they widen as you see the beautiful and intricate carvings and paint splashes on the wall, illustrating billowing snow and wolves running like the wind among colorful dabs of pink and yellow of spring. He tells you about the packs gods in thinly veiled excitement.

Avelineos, god of colors, rainbow, light, and joy. The world was dark and gloomy before he appeared, creating more gods with the help of the Sephtis. His patron animal is the Lilac-Breasted Roller, its colorful feathers akin to his prismatic coat

Sephtis, goddess of death, darkness, and despair. She, as the sole being in the universe was compelled to take out her eyes to create the world and her mate Avelineos. Her patron animal is the arctic fox, for its duality in color and adaption.

Ameyalli, god of spring and balance. They erupted into existence from Sephtis and Avelineos's love for each other, their purpose is to be the intermediate between the two's eternal spring and winter and their overwhelming joy and sadness. Their patron animal is the rare chimera butterflies, not being either gender and representing the beginning of warm months.

Wapiti, god of elk, luck, and hunting. This is the main god worshiped by the Elkwalker Pack, as they believe he grants them luck in hunting and surviving the brutal winter months when even mice are scarce. He protects the pups and elk calves being born in spring the most and gives them greater luck in survival. It is believed after Sephtis finishes guarding the dead he whisks them away and into the body of elk to serve the cycle. His patron animal is the elk, it nourishing the wolves as the wolves take out their sickly members.

Ceres, goddess of autumn, warmth, and the dawn.

Okeanos, god of birds, the ocean, and travel. His barks and growls cause wave and tsunamis, so he mostly stays silent. He guides the birds through migration, walking across water and land swiftly to deliver messages from Avelineos and Sephtis. His patron animal is the seagull, a good in-between between the ocean and sky that Okeanos rules over.
