Starlight was Muddy Mire and Silver Blaze's daughter. She got her mother's desire for power and her father's look, but sadly none of their good character. Starlight did not mean true evil, but usually based her decision-making in her own needs instead of the others. She was a skilled liar even as a pup, much to her denmates' dismay. She was pupsitted by Buttercup.
When her sibling Hailstorm started calling her out in her lies and how they could negatively affect the pack, Starlight decided to get rid of him and framed him as a traitor of the pack, telling her father he had attacked her for no reason. Starlight watched as her brother was exiled and kept on.
Starlight moved to The Hunters when she was still an adolescent, learning hunting techniques before truly preparing herself for the role, much to Silver Blaze's pride. However, she noticed how inexpercienced she was and decided to hide it, using tricks as to convience the others she was just as qualified to be a huntress. She joined Hunting Party Two.
Starlight started showing interest in Falcon and both soon became mates. Starlight does her best to be as good as she can be with her.
Starlight did not react well to the news of her mother's new pregnancy. However, she started showing a softspot for her sisters Blackbird and Windstorm and the three of them started growing close to each other.
Starlight longed to become leader after her father, even if it would mean only a short time.
