Backstory: Akio was born into a small pack. He was an adolescent when he discovered his gift, which was the ability to see the deceased spirits of past pack members. The spirits would come to him, talk to him. They'd wish to move on, and he would be at a loss, knowing that this gift must be something special, but blind on how to use it. He approached the pack's healer for advice, but this plan backfired heavily. He was labeled as an attention-seeker, and was being threatened with being thrown out of the pack if he didn't discontinue this behavior. One of the spirits that he kept in communication with, Rei, helped him escape from his pack, and unbeknownst to him, led him along a path toward the second wolf with this power, his friend and mate, Erina.
Personality: He's a clever wolf, with decent patience and leadership skills, but there are moments where he can be rather arrogant.
Other Information: Akio is [the Arbiter]. This means that he sends souls to the Bastion who are naturally drawn to service, so they can cleanse themselves of burdens in order to further ascend into their afterlife. Of course, this means that Akio spends most of time in limbo, searching for souls that have the capabilities to be redeemed.
