Everyone knows that Fio always gets her way. A true boss lady, this she-wolf loves to be in charge and doesn't like taking no for an answer. Truth be told, this happens often without her realizing it. Fio grew up in a pack run by a tyrant; a wolf so power-hungry and ruthless that he regularly abused and battered his own subjects into obedience. As he had subjugated much of the surrounding territory, he became untouchable by even enemy packs. Fio's parents managed to smuggle her from under their oppressor's nose, but for her freedom they paid the ultimate price.Â
Saved from a miserable fate, but left an orphan, Fio spent her puppyhood and early adolescence roaming the wilderness, often traveling with aimless bands of nomadic wolves. Even though she had escaped the clutches of an evil ruler, she still felt helpless and alone. Her fortune took a turn, however, when, in her early adult years, she had a chance encounter with a scout from the Forget-Me-Not-Pack, the leader's son, Malachi. He led Fio back to his home, which in turn became her home as well when she fell in love with their way of life.
Now, Fio struggles with her naturally bossy attitude, which is often a double-edged sword. Now that she has control of her life for the first time, she finds it difficult to let go of things she can't change. She became a scout herself, and soon after fast friends with fellow youngsters Jago and Shoei.
