Skylar

Grave Chill rested her muzzle on her newly-born pups as they suckled on her milk, occasionally whimpering and yelping. Their tiny paws kneaded her swollen stomach. The small den was cozy and warm, and the pups were strong. They would be good wolves.

The little pups grew quickly. Soon they were out of the den, wrestling and tumbling over each other as they roamed around the den area. Chill watched the puppies play as she rested in front of the nursery. The pups would be adolescents soon, and they would most likely be sold to other packs or trained to be a real wolf.

Their adolescence came quickly. Skylar, the lone male of the litter, and most ambitious of the three, was excited. He had been sold to a growing pack, the Chicken Pack. Tail wagging, he nuzzled her mother one last time before venturing into Chicken Pack territory, spirits soaring.

Skylar came upon the camp quickly. The noble leader, Chicken, greeted Skylar with kindness and welcome. He had noticed the potential deep within him, and he was determined to make her a leader after himself.

So then it began. Life within the Chicken Pack was quiet and wonderful. Skylar trained with Chicken nearly every day, learning about how to become a leader. In between, Autumn, a scout of the Chicken Pack, taught Skylar about scouting and other necessities of being in a pack.

Skylar was a quick learner, eager and smart. Je grew into a noble and loyal wolf, with icy blue eyes, dull blue and gray fur, and tawny skin. When the great Chicken died, he took his place as leader and led the Chicken Pack to greatness.
