The first to join besides Ildri, Danika wasn't sure about Alois at first but was glad she felt compelled to join anyway. She knew she'd chosen a good family, where she'd be treated with respect and would be well looked after. She joined the Hunting party, as she knew she'd be able to excel there.

She originally told Alois that she'd leave once his pups reached adulthood, but then realized she was too attached to her life with his pack and changed her mind. She did however express displeasure about her pack-mate Cullen. Alois reassured her if problems continued that he'd intervene. Then one hunt was disrupted because of an argument with her and Cullen, and though she'd injured Cullen more than he'd injured her, she gave her Alpha an ultimatum that either he needed to be ejected from the pack or she'd leave. Alois had a talk with Cullen and Cullen agreed to leave, expressing boredom with the pack anyway.
