Sharis

Granddaughter of both founders of the pack, Sha and Yasava, through Sha's son Sutekh and Yasava's daughter Yasaris, both the lead chasers of their hunt teams.

Second pack leader from the spring of year 8. Sharis trained as a scout before becoming pack leader. She is a more aggressive and impulsive wolf than her grandmother. Just before the winter of her first year as pack leader, she took the pack from the mountains to their new home, the riparian woodland. The winter was harsh, with an outbreak of influenza and pox just after arrival among wolves weakened by the trip. The hunt teams struggled with finding prey in the unfamiliar landscape, but the aging hunters also were feeling the strain. Just as spring came, three members of Yasava's Brood succumbed to age.

Sharis inherited Sha's white half-mask, Yasava's back edge patch, and Yasaris' face stripe. Her white tail tip comes from Sutekh.
