Metasequoia

Metasequoia is a pupsitter of the forest pack named the Viridis Greenwood Pack. She is named after the genus that dawn redwoods are in. She has a combative personality.

Metasequoia never expected to be a pupsitter of all things -- especially not to an alpha's pups -- but she eagerly took any job she could with winter swiftly coming.

In addition to the winter coming, she also lost quite a few things: her fellow pupsitter Dawsonia, a green wolf with a brown face mask who was chased from the pack once Calendula realized that healthy pups didn't need a wolf's full attention...and the pup she originally guarded: Gazania, a beautiful red and yellow shewolf who ended up being chased, much to Chanterelle and Metasequoia's detriment.

She now watches over the pups Morchella and Thunbergia, who are half-siblings, as well as a new addition to the pack: Castanea.

In a series of chaotic events throughout the winter and spring, Metasequoia went from pupsitting neglected newcomers to being asked to become a hunter, of all things. Excited (if not a little worried) at the change of pace, the brown and red wolf eagerly took the new position.
