🐾Puphood🐾 
Ion was the lone survivor of a litter of six. His mother died a month after his birth, and he was left all alone. He remained unweaned and starving for two days before he was found by a strange, female wolf. She looked startled upon seeing him, and she took him in shortly after and fed him.

When Ion turned four months he asked his adoptive mother how she had taken care of him. She had explained to him that she had lost her two pups to a rogue pack of wolves that stole them away. When she found him, she was still producing milk and she finally had a puppy of her own to keep. And she made she he remained safe.

🐾Adolescence🐾 
As Ion reached adolescence, his mother started taking in other lost puppies. She couldn't take unweaned ones, and if she found ones she'd find a pupless mother who had just lost hers or didn't mind keeping another. As Ion grew, red started tinting the edges of his fur and his eyes burned a brilliant blue. He grew more and more distant from his adoptive mother as she cared for more and more pups.

Ion hit 11 months of age before he finally left the large, mis-matched family of pups and the mother. They had grown into a pack, but Ion felt crowded with everything going on, so he bid his mother farewell, promising to visit again someday, and left. He headed to the mountains for his first bet, having lived in the Riparian Woodlands.

🐾Adulthood🐾 
The moment Ion became an official adult, he met Kho. She was a lone wolf seeking to build a powerful pack up in the mountains. He agreed to join her, thinking it would be a good time to live in peace. He was made Beta of the pack and watched as it's numbers began to grow. As time went on, Kho assigned him as a Chaser for a hunting group. He was the first.

Ion grew to feel an emotional connection with the pack as time went by. He realized this was his new home, and while hunting kept his mind preoccupied most of the day, the nights would leave his heart heavy because of his adoptive mother. He eventually wandered one day to visit her and when he did, he began to make regular visits to her every season, and got to watch the pups she cared for grow over time.
