Starvation is never a good thing within a pack. Violet's pack struggled with it once their numbers grew, and unfortunately many wolves left or lost their lives.
Once Violet was old enough, she did the same and went to search for a better home where she wouldn't have to worry about going to sleep with an empty belly. Along the way she learned more about hunting and about tracking. Her skills grew and she was able to fend for herself.
Along the river, while she was resting one day, a beautiful she wolf and her pups stumbled upon her. The pups loved her and her wonderful coat, she was absolutely charming, and the she wolf thought the same. Together they convinced her to join their pack where there was bounty to share, and Violet decided to watch over the pups from that day on so nothing would happen to them like what happened in her old pack.
