It had been years since their mother passed. Immortality was a strange concept. 3 leads, almost four, had passed and fallen, always peacefully, to new heirs. Fy Anwylyd was just past six and had both a litter coming as well as an heir preparing to take over. Melys sighed and Melysach looked over, soft and sweet as always. Quite a comparison to his fiery and brash brother. They worked well together, the others supposed it was simply the time that lead to that but honestly, the two loved each other and with their littermates long gone, their mother and father dead, they only had the other. The body was pulled down as Melysach lay down and Melys followed the other happily. "Just sleep. I can practically hear the thoughts running around in your head." Melys muttered to their companion who snorted. "Shh brother, it doesn't matter. You sleep." The two bickered playfully before they fell silent, falling to sleep soon.

...."Go away! You can't play with us!" The adolescents complained, easily running away from the twins. Melys tried to move after them but Melysach didn't move. "Melys, please, they won't listen. Come on, we'll just go to the nursery again. Someone there will talk with us..."

...."It's temporary. Just let her know what to do. You will be alright, Fy will take over after her. I promise, you'll be alright. Fy will take over and she will lead well, especially with your guidance." Arwain said after the small ceremony and the twins sighed but nodded, looking towards the cave entrance...

Murder crouches down and places their hand over the pups, Melys a Melysach's heads giving them sweet head pats. Murder's own twins would peak out from behind their body before playfully coming over to nuzzle the other twins.

The lean male sighed and rolled over sleepily. The moon was high, he could see it through the cave entrance. Her beads rattled as the wolf got up and carefully maneuvered through the other sleeping wolves and stepped outside.

It was raining. Fy's scent was crossed around the clearing and eventually led away from the area. She must've gone exploring again. The rain dripped down steadily and Rhaeadr startled the the beads wrapped around her body burst into...flame? It was cold and blue but also soothing. She hummed, frowning as she sniffed the flame but eventually ignored it. Until, that is, he noticed the rain was the same as the flame. Glowing blue and bright but fading as it hit the ground and surrounding area. Logicality long gone, the wolf chose to put it out of his head and to simply play. With long, sweeping steps he grinned and bounded across the area with wild abandon. The flame along her body flickered and sung with the movement and the rain seeped between her fur, seemingly ignoring the water resistant coating and sending sparks through her very bones.

Fy returned, just in time to see Rhaeadr pause at the entrance of his cave and look back at the shimmering rain before ducking back inside, fur practically glowing. go to sleep fy. phrog's voice echoed inside her head, a comforting presence as always. The Queen began to move, back to her den, and Rhaeadr sleep fitfully, not knowing what had caused the lunar rain but glad it had happened all the same.
