Embers was born as the runt. He was the smallest and weakest of his bunch. However, as he was found up for trade at the crossroads, Kho saw potential in him, and herself. She quickly traded her Silver Cones for him, and brought him back to Soot, the pupsitter inside the Matron's Hideaway den.
Kho bowed her head to Soot in respect as little Embers bounded up to the other two pups Cobble and Cinder. They immediately got along, and Kho decided to take him in as her own. He was strong for a runt, and she knew that he would show much good for the pack in the future.
🐾Adolescence🐾
Embers fought hard to keep up with Kho's pups Cinder and Cobble. Embers fit in well enough, despite being so much smaller than his two adoptive siblings. As time went on, the entire pack treated him as if he were finally one of their own. Kho in particular kept a close interest on him.
Nearing the end of his adolescence and bordering on adulthood, Ember grew stronger with each day. He trained hard with Kho, learned how to hunt with Bee and Freeze, and watched in curiosity as Cinder and Cobble learned how to scout and search. He was moved to the Hunter's Nook at 9 months, ready to start his official training as a Chaser.
