Reidun

Red Soul/Outsourced BM

Reidun is a 3rd generation pack member. Her mother was Red Soul, and her father was an unknown male. Her grandmother was Icy Tail, and her grandfather was Koda.

Reidun was born as "Acorn", named after her reddish coat. As she gained her apprenticeship status, she was given the name "Acorn Fur" by Kader. She fell into the role of pupsitter, but didn't mesh well with the job. She was moved into the Chaser position and enjoyed the role more- she liked being apart of a collective group, communicating with her hunting party and working together to provide food for the pack. Despite being a chaser, she had a good eye for strategy and therefore led the party.

When Kader died- mourning the death of her mate, Koda- Acorn Fur became an immediate candidate for the role of leader. While some of the older members of the pack were hesitant to have such a young wolf in the role, the rest of the pack thought she'd be a good fit. The pack debated until Blotted Sun, the Healer and daughter of Kader, intervened. She said that Kader would not have wanted such dissent in the pack, and that Acorn Fur would have been a wonderful leader. She turned and looked at the elders, and reminded them that Kader herself had been only a year old when she became leader.

The next day the pack had agreed that Acorn Fur would be leader. Blotted Sun gifted her the name Reidun- for her love of her home and pack.

Reidun gave birth to Light Breeze, but did not take apart of her offspring's life, instead leaving her to the Den Guardian.
