Feldspar was a former wanderer who joined the Snowstep after they provided him shelter and healing while he was ill. One day, he and Lumen were attacked during a scouting outing, and Feldspar was permanently blinded, too early into the fight to identify their attackers. After healing from his wounds, and after the sickness that killed most of the pack, Feldspar took up the herbalist role in honor of Faux. His former mate was Snow Cap.
