Ah yes, little Elaine. Although he isn't too small to the point where he's considered a runt, he's still quite small. Often enough, the second born is often teased by his larger sister and told that he was one whisker away from being the runt of the litter which Elaine stutteringly denies. Often enough however, his mother, Cansu, reminds him that she was born a runt and grew up fine and that the same applied to him, considering he wasn't even a runt to begin with. Though Elaine is obviously male, he was mistaken to be female for a while until two days passed when he was discovered to be male. It had been too late and Elaine's father had picked out his name. So, when Elaine had the decision of renaming himself, he declined it.
Unlike his loud sister, Elaine is a quiet male that often sticks to himself. He's quite bashful and shy and gets embarrassed very easily. Although he got his observant and cautious nature from his mother, even she isn't as quiet and shy as him. It takes a while for this little male to open up and to talk about himself and he feels quite uncomfortable in his body. It's to the point where he truly dislikes himself and his body though he isn't sure as to why.
Elaine, unlike his sister Ixora, is an exact replica of his mother. Having several of her markings including her exact same pelt and exact same eyes, it wouldn't be a surprise if the male was mistaken for her once he grew bigger. It's to the point where he even has her exact same watchful and cautious attitude but to a whole new extreme. Although Elaine does look up to his dad, mom is his true hero and he will always aspire to be like her. The only true differences that he has from his mother are his almost unnoticeable beige markings that he inherited from his father. Good riddance as the pack may not have been able to tell them apart!
As Elaine begins growing and maturing into an adolescence, the male begins to lose his bashful nature and it is replaced with a reserved one. Most days, he keeps to himself and distances himself from everyone except his mother and his close best friend. Even Ixora, who calmed down in her teen years isn't let in by Elaine. Although most put this off and state that this is due to puberty, Ixora and others are beginning to believe there's a lot more going on.
Elaine, as stated before, truly only has two that he trusts. Cansu, his beloved mother, and his best friend. It had always been hard for Elaine to make friends but there was always someone there for him. His best friend, Ianthe. Ianthe always stuck with Elaine and despite their seemingly clashing personalities, became incredibly close. So close that they had nicknames to each other. Ianthe was called Ian only by Elaine alone and Elaine was called El by Ianthe alone. As Elaine begins to get more and more baggage alongside beginning to struggle with his own problems, Ianthe still sticks with him despite it all and most are beginning to rumor there is more going on behind the scenes.
