Kabar shared a brief romance with Raksha when the pack was young. His two daughters were grown with pups of their own, one daughter living in a different pack. He’d resigned to raising others’ pups as his own and mourned the young ones that died too soon.
Alala is a good pupil and he’s glad to have more paws to help. The pack was growing quickly, some wolves left when they were of age to find their own path.
Kabar was coming to terms with a life without a mate until Solar Flare took interest in him. She had been welcomed into the pack at a young age, but he hadn’t seen her or gotten to know her until she was joining hunting patrols.
She spent time with him and they grew close. Now Kabar is buzzing with excitement, excited to be a father again.
Raksha is happy to see her old friend looking content.
