" I am by no means your leader, yet should you follow you will find shelter under this roof."
Xadroff, In the tongue of his mother pack, means 'castaway'.
Born as a runt with poor immunities and a twisted paw, Xadroff was left to die because he was not expected to survive. He was found and sustained by a mother bear, Tyrasha, who had lost her cubs in the previous winter, and raised him as one of her own, teaching him to forage and take care of himself in the harsh mountains. He was raised with humility and for the most part lived most of his adolescence alone apart from Tyrasha, apart from taking in occasionally- other injured animals or lost creatures seeking shelter. Their cave was always open, and this is something Xadroff took close to heart.
Reaching adulthood, it was time to expand his horizons, to grow and find his own place in the world, to know that he could in fact survive on his own. He traveled far from the mountains he once hailed from, abandoned and raised, over the grasslands, until finding the great woods where he decided to settle... for now. Xadroff originally had not the intent to settle in any particular place, his wanderlust rather strong after a lifetime secluded in the mountains- But that all changed with Dhajin.
They met under the squall of a storm, Xadroff trundling through the wet forest in dismal search of temporary shelter, when alarmingly there was the scent of fresh wolf blood mingled amid the petrichor. The scent was near, and stalking into a grove Xadroff found the maimed coal body of Dhajin in a wilted pile against the roots of a gnarled oak. He was able to shelter the other male and weathered out the storm by the other's side, treating his wounds after the storm had let up. He nursed the other wolf back to health, and found the other wolf to be mute. It was a long and trepid recovery, but after staying with the other for such a long time the two found a quiet but tender bond blossom between them.
They built a den together for all the sick and wandering, an that den has become what is now The Lost Wyld, for those that nature's children and graces had forgotten. Here, all are found.
