Salix

Salix is a husky wolf hybrid found by Luke. She was the only survivor of a sled dog accident. She and some other puppies were being transported by a sled dog group when something happened and all of the sled dogs and their human died. Luke found them to late to be of any help. While he and the others were burying the dogs and the human they found Salix, the lone survivor. She was freezing and tiny. She barely had her eyes open yet somehow she survived for who knows how long. One of the elder dogs was curled around her. That dog froze to death protecting Salix so maybe that how she survived. Either way Luke ordered Celaeno, one of the packs fastest wolves, to rush Salix back to the den. Ishka was nursing and could help the pup survive. That was a couple months ago and Salix not only survived she thrived. Luke took a special liking to her and took her under his wing. He's decided to raise the little hybrid to be the next alpha.
