Rudolf was arranged to marry Heiress Pearly Ripple, the daughter of Queen Ivory Strike and her first friend, Corsyr. But as time went on, the Queen's obsession with lineage, rare pelts, and 'purity' became greater and greater. Rudolf rose through the ranks and became the greatest possible scout, but Queen Ivory Strike no longer saw him fit to be anyone's mate. Pearly Ripple was eventually chased off in the middle of the night, and nobody ever saw her again.
