Shifty eyed and skittish, there is hardly a moment when Ranger relaxes. Forced into the profession of a herbalist due to an unpredictability on the field, Ranger mutters over plants and recipes all day, preferring to embed himself into the back of the cave rather than lay outside in the sun. None of his fellows speak to him unless necessary, as he is a very easy wolf to dislike; nervous, antisocial, and prone to accidentally rude behavior. He trips ever every word he utters. Nevertheless, Ranger is a brilliant creature who understands the importance of his role, and though it frustrates him that his pack mates become so uncomfortable around him, he blames himself. Ranger is prone to jealousy, and can sustain a sulk for days when Casper brings down an especially impressive enemy or Jezebel and Six String return home with particularly juicy prey.
O'Hara is Ranger's greatest antagonist.
