Luke started his pack, Tempest Seekers, in hopes of saving others who got lost in the snow storms like he once did. Long ago Luke and his mate were heading to their new den territory when they got lost in a snow storm. They were wandering when suddenly his mate slipped and rolled down a hill. She was injured on the way down and knocked unconscious. Luke rushed to his mate's side and she was bleeding from a gash on her tummy. He managed to find a cave and dragged his mate to the cave. He did his best but his mate eventually ended up dying in that cave. She never did regain consciousness. That day Luke made up his mind. He wouldn't let another wolf die due to the snow storms. So he started up the Tempest Seekers to wander the snow fields and help any wolf they could find.
Luke's territory is known for very dangerous snowstorms and very high winds. When it's not storming the landscape is absolutely beautiful and it gives the wolves who wander into his territory a false sense of safety. However little do they know that a snow storm can whip up within a few minutes and temperatures can easily drop below freezing. The landscape is rather bare of hiding spots so the now lost and cold wolf would freeze to death if they can't find shelter. Not to mention there are many hills and and drop offs created by the rough winds and snow. It is an extremely dangerous area.
