Kirion is the first friend that Lei'luna made when she first entered these lands. He is her best friend, and most loyal companion. He is also the sire of her first litter of cubs. Kirion loves his pack leader, and there isn't anything that he wouldn't do for her. Kirion is extremely protective of his pack. So much so that he is suspicious of all outsiders.
Kirion is a member of an immortal race of wolves known as the Sylvan. They are the guardians of mortal wolves. When there is need, they will defend their mortal kin from threats that they cannot defend themselves from. And at times, they act as advisors, guiding pack leaders in times of great need.
When a mortal wolf sacrifices their life to save an immortal wolf, they are rewarded by being reborn as a Immortal wolf themselves. In some rare cases, being turned into a Sylvan wolf can be a reward for saving an Immortal wolf even if the wolf does not sacrifice their lives to do so. This is how Kirion became a member of the Sylvan race. As a cub, he saved a Sylvan female that came to his birth pack in a time of need. Centuries passed, and his pack passed into the mists of time. Grieving, Kirion vowed that he would remain alone, helping other packs at need then moving on. All of that changed when Kirion met Lei'luna. He joined her out of love, and helped her as she started her pack and made a place for them. He knows that her eventual death will hurt him far more than the loss of his birth pack, but he has vowed to himself that he will remain with her pack forever, protecting them from all harm.
