Caliban is an experienced male, at least more so than the members of the Pale Heart pack, and after seeing them having trouble hunting a doe, the lone male tried to make a good impression by helping with the hunt, showing his worth, soon winning the alpha's eyes. He was readily accepted by Teemana, just as Caliban had planned.
Caliban can be defined as the shield of any company, the true meaning of a warrior. He is loyal to the cause, does not ask several questions, and is always ready to get his hands dirty for a higher order. Like any other wolf, he respects strong and decisive leadership and is always prepared to follow or show his range of skills to any leader who shows some progress in his life and in that of his companions, some having greater weight than others.
The odds are in favor that the wolf will seek a better condition and opportunity for himself and his family, and will probably not stick around much if times are tough or if he has more prey in some other region of Wolvden. Caliban needs to be constantly stimulated, so he has certain disagreements with leaders who choose to think rather than act, but this is not the case with Teemana, after all, without an explicit cause he is not free to give his strength to something that in his view is futile.
